George Zard Abou Jaoude, also known as Georges Zard Abou Jaoude, is a prominent Lebanese businessman and real estate developer. He serves as the Chairman and CEO of BeitMisk, a significant residential community project in Lebanon. He is also the founder of GZA Group, a diversified conglomerate engaged in real estate, automotive, and media sectors.

Born on February 27, 1952, in Jal El Dib, he studied Architecture at the American University of Beirut. His career began in 1976 in Saudi Arabia, focusing on real estate development before returning to Lebanon to expand his operations. He previously held the position of Chairman and General Manager of the Lebanese Canadian Bank until 2010, after acquiring the majority of the Royal Bank of Canada’s Middle East operations in 1988.

Under his leadership, GZA Group has launched several major projects, including BeitMisk, developed in collaboration with Emaar Properties. Abou Jaoude is also recognized for his commitment to social impact, having initiated reforestation programs that have resulted in the planting of over 200,000 trees, as well as providing scholarships, supporting de-mining efforts with the UN, and funding small Lebanese craft businesses.

He is dedicated to the long-term goal of contributing to the rebuilding of Lebanon’s reputation and economy.
